Hello People! I send you a big MEOW greeting. I talk alot when someone is talking to me. You can call me Chatty Catty. I play with all kinds of toys. A ball across the floor can be alot a fun. I will also play in the sink when the water is turned on. I am rather nosey. I will follow you around just to see what is happening. I play well with others too. I have many friends at my foster house. Some are even dogs. Do you like to play? Are you interested in adopting Kade or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received. Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org , faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center). We will contact you as soon as possible once we receive your application. Thanks for thinking adoption!

I am a very happy boy who enjoys being with people. I like to be in the "know" which means I will follow you around to see what is happening. I am also a talker. My stories are entertaining to Foster Mommy, although I am not sure how she knows what I am saying. I have a good time with other cats too. I do know how to share toys and attention, and I really love the attention. You know, if you take me home maybe we could write a book from all of my stories. I am sure to tell you a few! Are you interested in adopting this kitten or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. (Special Adoption Fee) ZZ (renamed Theo and renamed back to ZZ) was born April 1, 2019. He was adopted by a nice family with human siblings to love and love him. Unfortunately, due to COVID circumstances, his family's living situation changed, and he had to come back to JCAPL. They were very sad, and so was he. He has recovered quickly back at his foster home, but he misses the attention he got in his own home. He is now ready to find his new forever home. He gets along with other cats and children. He loves canned food and petting. As a black cat that has grown out of kittenhood, he will tend to get overlooked, but he shouldn't! He is sweet and beautiful, and he will be a good addition to a lucky family! Are you interested in adopting ZZ or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. Pinky is a sweet little girl, probably born around August 2020. She can play hard, like any kitten, but she also likes to snuggle. She gets along well with other cats and she loves her sister Penny, who will be available for adoption soon. She has been spayed and microchipped and is current on her shots. Miss Pinky is definitely a princess! Now she is looking for her forever home, one where she can be spoiled and loved and treated like the little princess she is. Do you have room in your home and heart for her? Are you interested in adopting Pinky or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. Pacey is a sweet but shy tortie girl, estimated to be born May 2020. She was found as a stray kitten and was saved by JCAPL. Pacey usually has a very serious look about her, but she will warm up and purr with lots of petting and love. She is playful, and gets along fine with other cats, though she may need some "getting to know you" time. Pacey will blossom and benefit greatly with being the center of attention. She is now looking for her forever family and is waiting patiently for them to claim her. Do you have room in your home and heart for sweet Pacey? Are you interested in adopting this kitten or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. Hello People! I can be the ray of sunshine on a dismal day. My story starts in June of 2020 when I was born along with 5 others. Wow, were we a handful for our mom. I am Bubba, the more reserved of the family. I do like to play with the ball in the circle as most kittens do, but I really like to sit in the sunshine and nap. I am a good napper. I am also a bit of a computer Geek. I sit with foster mommy while she works. Sometimes my typing skills are not appreciated but then she can not type either. I have a couple friends to hang with. We play chase and tumble. But I like to sit and cuddle. When my purr gets started, I am out for the count. Maybe I can help you work from home too? Are you interested in adopting Bubba or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. Marco is a handsome boy and ready for adoption! He was found under an abandoned house two years ago. Marco has a condition called eyelid agenesis, which means he does not have eyelids. JCAPL has treated him with two surgeries to remove eyelashes that were irritating his eyes, and the doctor says he is good to go now. Because he does not have eyelids, he should get eyedrops every day just to help moisturize his eyes. He is a little nearsighted, but his vision is fine. He is also a bit cross-eyed, but that makes him even cuter! Marco is a bit shy, but he does like attention, and he should blossom with a family who will love him and give him the home he deserves. Do you have room in your home and heart for this sweet boy? Are you interested in adopting this cat or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. Meet Oscar! He came into the shelter along with his brother Andrew, as tiny babies who needed to be bottle fed. They love each other and would love to be adopted together. They love playing with toys and wrestling with each other. They both are cuddle bugs and love to jump into your lap and snuggle up. Listen for their purrs when it is loving time! JCAPL realizes that the two brothers may not be able to stay together but they love each other so much we would prefer they go to the same home where they will be loved and spoiled. Do you have room in your home and heart for these two boys? Are you interested in adopting this kitten or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. Mamaria is estimated to have been born in 2018. She was part of a feral colony, having litter after litter of kittens. JCAPL took them in and found homes for her kittens. Though she is a shy kitty, we could not deny her a chance at a forever home, too. She has come a long way and will continue to warm up with love and attention. She loves canned food! She likes to be petted calmly and is learning to like being held. She exists peacefully with other cats and has bonded with a couple foster kittens. She will blossom with an experienced and patient adopter. While Mamaria's kittens have all been adopted, it is now her turn to shine. Are you interested in adopting this cat or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. (Special Adoption Fee) What a handsome boy! Tooker was born spring 2019. He was found in a car engine at a grocery store. He is a little shy, but he is very sweet. He gets along great with his kitty foster siblings. He loves canned food! He will need a patient adopter who is experienced with cats, and it would be best if he was in a home with other cats. Ideally, he would be adopted with one of the young foster kittens he knows because he loves to chase them around. He likes attention on his terms and just needs to have a long-term home commitment where he can grow his confidence and bond with his adopter. JCAPL will extend his trial adoption period to ensure things are working out on both sides. Are you interested in adopting Tooker or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. (Special Adoption Fee) I am a shy girl but really like attention. Ear scratches and head rubs are very soothing to me. I enjoy my toys and laser lights. I am a kitty who watches everything around me. Laying on your feet while you sleep is fun. When you move, I get to play. I am all about a can of food. Pop that top and I will come running. It takes me a bit of time to warm up to new kitties but I do play well with them. I live with several currently in my foster home.
