How to Join iGive
Go to this link at iGive and fill in the requested information to register. Once you are registered, you can check out different ways to give through online store donations.
Ways to Use iGive:
- Click on a store link directly from iGive.com or iGive.com/mobile sites. (You must be logged in)
- For faster shopping, create your own list of favorite stores on your iGive member home page under My Stores.
- RECOMMENDED: Install the iGive Button and shopping online as you normally would (for more info: iGive Button – How It Works)
- Shop via the iGive App for iPhone, iPad or Android (visit the App Store and search “iGive” – free)
Using the iGive Button
The best way to make sure you capture all the donations possible is to install the iGive Button. The iGive button is a web browser extension (software) that automatically shows you what merchants will donate through iGive.
Once the button is installed, you can see what merchants are enrolled in iGive and will give donations to JCAPL. Whenever you search for something you want to buy, look for the red $ and the iGive logo. You can even see the percentage of donation each store will give.
Activating Donations
Even if you go directly to a merchant without searching, the iGive button will notify you if the store in a member of iGive. Be on the lookout for the banner at the top of the website when it first loads. To make sure JCAPL gets the donation, click on the red ACTIVATE button and the store website will automatically tally your purchases toward JCAPL.
