How to set up and use iGive
iGive is an easy way to donate to JCAPL – just go shopping!
iGive is a rebate system where over 1600 online stores and businesses give a certain percentage of your sale to the charity of your choice.
Options for using iGive
Find Stores on iGive website
- Log in to iGive
- Search for stores on the main page. You can search using Categories such as Pets.
- Click on the store link from the iGive website to make sure JCAPL gets the rebate.
- For faster shopping, create your own list of favorite stores on your iGive member home page under My Stores.
Use the iGive Chrome Extension
The best way to make sure you capture all the donations possible is to install the iGive Button. The iGive button is a web browser extension (software) that automatically shows you what merchants will donate through iGive.
- Log in to iGive
- From your home page in iGive, click the orange button to install the iGive button (see screenshot below.)
- Once the iGive extension is installed, any store website that supports iGive will show a button in the corner.
- You can click on the button to see the details (example below, Ace Hardware will donate 3.2%.)
