We will always treasure the memories of our gatherings and the way that you made everyone around you laugh and feel young again. Knowing that you have reunited with so many of our family members in heaven is a comfort in itself. We appreciated your love and affection for animals and feel honored to donate to this wonderful group in your memory. Until we meet again sweet cousin.”

In Memory of “Mufasa”
The sweetest cat I have ever known. Suspected to be abandoned, you showed up dirty and matted. You had our hearts immediately. So sweet, so gentle, so playful and absolutely loved belly rubs. You were our purr-fect little kitty. Not a day goes by that I do not think of you. You will forever be missed and never forgotten. Look out for your sister until we are together again.

In Memory of “Angel”
Friends,
I am enclosing a check as a donation in memory of “Angel”, beloved pet of Pat R.
Angel truly was an angel, a beautiful, sweet, lively little dog, with only a slight devilish streak. She was a wonderful friend to Pat.
Thanks you for what you do for animals.
Sincerely,
Ann. A
In Loving Memory of our Beloved “Shorty”
You were the best boy in the whole wide world.
You made Mommy & Daddy so very happy.
We will always love you so very much.
You are always with us in our hearts.
Thank you for being our special & perfect boy!
We would like to thank Ulli Mattern so much for saving Shorty and giving us the best years of our life with our special boy. We are so thankful to have adopted him in March of 2005 from Johnston County Animal Protection League. He made our life beautiful!
Sincerely,
Kevin & Jackie Lorenzen
In Memory of our “Micke”
We fostered Micke’s mom when she was very pregnant. Micke was the first kitten born, and very little. We fell in love with Micke immediately and decided to adopt him. He had such a personality. We lost him suddenly and think of him often. We miss him very much.

In Memory of Our “Grady”…
This donation is in memory of our Grady, who we adopted from the Johnston Country Animal Shelter in September 2003. He was the best “Big Brother” our two sons could have asked for and looked over them from the day they came home from the hospital. We lost him this September at home with all his family there with him. We miss him every day but so thankful for the 14 years we had with him. Thanks to JCAPL for what you do for the animals of this county.

Andy suddenly passed away in mid-November and shortly thereafter, so did Ed. Their bond was unbreakable. This donation is in honor of Ed and Andy and all dogs everywhere who provide unconditional solace to their humans. ~ Julie Greer Heartfelt condolences to Edrie Greer and her family. |
