From adopter Dan…
I had rescued numerous cats, and then adopted a Pitbull mix named Winston. After a few months I knew that I needed to get Winston a brother. I wanted another pittie mix around Winston’s age, and one that was dog & cat friendly. I expanded my search on Petfinder and found Jubal (aka Hercules) who was being fostered by JCAPL. I quickly notfied them, and asked if I could bring Winston to meet Jubal. JCAPL had an adoption event that Saturday. I immediately drove to the PetSmart that Saturday in anticpiation that this was going to be the right brother for Winston.

As soon as I turned the corner near White Oak, I could see the pups in their crates. I had asked Karolina to please hold Jubal for me, because I knew deep in my heart he would be the perfect addition to our family. I spotted Jubal in the crate at the end, and my heart just melted. We introduced the pups, and I walked him around the parking lot. I knew instantly he would be the best addition to the household. I signed the paperwork, and placed Jubal and Winston in the backseat together. However, before pulling out of the parking lot, Jubal jumped in the front seat to be near me. I knew right then I had made the right decision.  He rested his head on the armrest all the way back to Roanoke to be in his new home.
