Rugby came into JCAPL Feb 18, 2016. He was living in an abandoned house that was literally falling down around him. The puppy collar that his owner placed on him had become tight and became literally embedded in his skin. He was struggling to find food and fighting to protect himself from other critters that thought a small puppy might make a nice snack. Rugby came to us with slight aggression towards other dogs and critters because of this. Over the last month he has learned trust, learned that food will always be available and that he doesn’t have to fight anymore.
Despite the scars still visible from his once embedded collar, Rugby has blossomed into a normal, happy, healthy, fun-loving friendly pup!! And Wednesday Rugby found his FURever mom and dad. He gets to live a happy life with his new Dad and Mom, a fur-sister and a new baby sister who will be joining them all soon!!
Congratulations to Rugby and his new Family!
