In Memory of Mufasa
The sweetest cat I have ever known. Suspected to be abandoned, you showed up dirty and matted. You had our hearts immediately. So sweet, so gentle, so playful and absolutely loved belly rubs. You were our purr-fect little kitty. Not a day goes by that I do not think of you. You will forever be missed and never forgotten. Look out for your sister until we are together again.

In Memory of Angel
I am enclosing a check as a donation in memory of “Angel”, beloved pet of Pat R. Angel truly was an angel, a beautiful, sweet, lively little dog, with only a slight devilish streak. She was a wonderful friend to Pat.
Thanks you for what you do for animals. ~ Ann A.
In Memory of our beloved Shorty
You were the best boy in the whole wide world. You made Mommy & Daddy so very happy. We will always love you so very much. You are always with us in our hearts. Thank you for being our special & perfect boy!
We would like to thank Ulli Mattern so much for saving Shorty and giving us the best years of our life with our special boy. We are so thankful to have adopted him in March of 2005 from Johnston County Animal Protection League. He made our life beautiful!
Sincerely, Kevin & Jackie Lorenzen

In Memory of our Micke
We fostered Micke’s mom when she was very pregnant. Micke was the first kitten born, and very little. We fell in love with Micke immediately and decided to adopt him. He had such a personality. We lost him suddenly and think of him often. We miss him very much. ~ Charissa, Tim and Austin
In memory of Kay Allen and her beloved Curly Bob

Grady
This donation is in memory of our Grady, who we adopted from the Johnston Country Animal Shelter in September 2003. He was the best “Big Brother” our two sons could have asked for and looked over them from the day they came home from the hospital. We lost him this September at home with all his family there with him. We miss him every day but so thankful for the 14 years we had with him. Thanks to JCAPL for what you do for the animals of this county.
In Honor of Minda Daughtry
In honor of my mother, Minda Daughtry. My mom has 3 cats and 2 dogs, all adopted. She provides a great life for adorable pets. Thanks Mom for looking after the creatures.

In loving memory of my precious little boy Beau-Beau (Beauregard). Remembering him on his birthday, Oct.24. ~ Shirley Dorman

Tashi, your fellow yogis miss you greeting them at the door; and Mom and Dad miss you be everywhere you were not supposed to be. All Mom’s June Yoga Classes were donated in your name with some adding a bit extra because of their very big hearts. “Breathe in the Love”, Tashi. You will always be remembered.
Mr. Ed
Found under a trailer in Smithfield when he was just a tiny kitten, living on bugs he could catch, Mr. Ed was a fighter. He brought great joy to our lives for many years and will be missed. We loved you Ed, thanks for being the best cat ever.

Wiggles

“You are missed, Wiggles.”
Prissy
In memory of Prissy Benigno

Ed Greer’s dog Andy was a rescue from JCAPL. While Ed was slowly dying from a terminal disease, Andy provided non-stop love and comfort. Andy suddenly passed away in mid-November and shortly thereafter, so did Ed. Their bond was unbreakable.
This donation is in honor of Ed and Andy and all dogs everywhere who provide unconditional solace to their humans. ~ Julie Greer
Heartfelt condolences to Edrie Greer and her family. ~ Sue Thompson

Our Rocky was a very special dog. He was our pride and joy and we miss him every day. I know that he would have wanted his things given to help others dogs who are less fortunate as he.
He was abused as a puppy and unwanted as a young dog, but when he got to us we were a perfect fit.

Arnold, the sweet boy who showed up on our back porch over a decade ago. We miss your sweet little meow. We are donating in your memory to the JCAPL Fix a Feral fund, hoping to curb the number of cats without homes. We are glad you found your home with us!
