Muddy (now Waffles) was brought into a local vet with a broken leg. He had been found by a person who was mowing his lawn. The finder was going to have Muddy euthanized, but the vet contacted JCAPL. When he came into the foster program, he did not want to walk at all, but with time and love he got stronger and became a pretty regular kitty. The vet recommended the leg be monitored. When Muddy went in for his neuter, his limp was barely detectable, and the vet said she did not see a need to intervene medically. He was such a special boy that he was adopted that day by one of the vet employees. He now has a great mom and a doggie sister, and he is doing great.  He is now named Waffles!
